The story of Cornerstone Church was started in September of 1980 by Pastors Allen & Dena Gregory. In 1981, the church moved from their living room to a permanent building on Schrade Road in Rowlett, TX. Pastor Gregory would devote 34 years of his life to faithfully loving the people of Rowlett and Cornerstone Church. During that time, he would begin the work of expanding the vision for Cornerstone’s future and that included purchasing an additional adjoining land.
In February of 2015, following Pastor Gregory’s passing, Brian & Lisa Hiatt stepped in as the new Lead Pastors of Cornerstone Church after serving as Associate Pastors for 14 years. Their efforts to see Cornerstone be a force for good in Rowlett were quickly realized during the 2015 tornado and continue to this day. As they lead through team collaboration and prayerful innovation, they are always looking to seek the lost and empower believers for the Kingdom of God.
Our new new campus was completed in 2025 and is located at 4000 Dalrock Road in Rowlett, TX on the same acreage purchased in 1993.
We look forward to meeting you and would love for you to make Cornerstone your home. We’re so glad you’re here!
